What Is a Submersible Effluent Pump?
Submersible effluent pumps are used to move wastewater or effluent from a septic tank or an aerobic treatment system to a drain field, a secondary treatment system, or another discharge point. In a septic tank system, sewage gradually sinks to the bottom, where it collects and can be periodically removed. As the gray water level rises, it eventually reaches the submersible effluent pump and is removed from the tank.
There are a number of important specifications to take into consideration when selecting a pump, including maximum discharge flow, maximum head (or vertical lift), the size of the solids the pump can handle, and the pump's horsepower rating. Even more importantly, you want a pump made of quality materials and manufactured to a high standard. A well-designed and properly constructed effluent pump will save money and trouble in the long run.
FN Series Submersible Wastewater/Effluent Pumps

Each of our pumps is assembled professionally and tested for the highest quality. The rotors are heat-treated for high-temperature ratings, and the stator winding is impregnated with varnish, then heat-dried in an industrial oven.
Standard accessories of the FN series of wastewater pumps include cable with an epoxy resin-sealed and water-resistant cable base, auto-cut thermal motor protector, and lip seal design.
