HCP Pumps' L Series of submersible large volume pumps is designed for irrigation and dewatering applications.  Our customers appreciate that these are low-maintenance and easy-handling pieces of equipment.  These pumps are equipped to handle small solids, with epoxy coating to prolong their resistance to abrasion and corrosion.  This line of pumps achieves large flow capacities with the use of axial and mixed flow impeller designs, depending on the Hp of the pump you select.  (Pumps with a motor of up 10 Hp use axial flow; those with a higher Hp motor use mixed flow.)  An impeller flow guide vane allows high efficiency.  

Our submersible large volume pumps are built to last, with a stainless steel outer jacket and a heavy-duty cast iron motor housing.  For added durability, we opted for a triple seal design, compression grommet, and cable leads that are waterproofed with hardened, anti-wicking epoxy.  We use casted ALBC3 material (aluminum bronze) impellers for their superior resistance to corrosion and abrasion, and we include a sacrificial anode for further corrosion protection.  

This line of submersible large volume pumps covers a wide range of specifications, with a max head of 32 feet and a max flow of 2480 gpm.  Our L series includes pumps with Hp strengths from 0.5 to 20 and discharge sizes from 4" to 12".  Whatever the demands of your unique job site, we have a pump to meet your needs!
